How to uninstall add-ins from Microsoft Outlook: Assuming that the installation program is well written, there is no difference between the two methods. There are basically two ways, from Windows using the Control Panel, and from the setup program itself. You can read our article on how to remove those types of add-ins.
Note that we are talking about traditional installed desktop add-ins (the kind where you have to download a setup program), not the “modern” style Office 365 add-ins. To keep a clean system, or sometimes to install new versions of add-ins, it is sometimes necessary to uninstall any unneeded Outlook add-ins.
